ProdTech AS (org. no. 926 843 222), Grønørveien 7, 7300 Orkanger, Norway, is the data controller for personal data collected through this webshop.
Customers with an account: name, email, phone, company affiliation, delivery addresses and order history.
Usage statistics for logged-in customers: product views, searches and cart activity tied to the company.
Visitors without an account: anonymous usage statistics (products and categories viewed, search terms). We do not store IP addresses, cookies or any other identifier in these statistics.
Requests via "Contact us for a customer account": company name, name, email, phone and job title.
Google Analytics (only with consent): traffic data such as page views, device, approximate location and how you found the webshop. For logged-in customers, an internal user ID and company ID are also sent — never name or email.
Account and order data is processed to deliver orders and fulfil the customer agreement (contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Usage statistics are processed to improve the webshop and product range (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
Contact form requests are processed to respond to you and, where relevant, set up a customer agreement (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
Google Analytics is used only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Accounting records are kept to comply with the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c)).
Raw usage-statistics data is kept for 90 days. After that, only aggregated, anonymized figures are kept.
Account data is kept for the duration of the customer relationship.
Orders and invoice records are kept for 5 years after the end of the financial year, as required by the Bookkeeping Act.
Contact form requests are deleted once handled, unless they lead to a customer relationship.
Google Analytics data is stored by Google for up to 14 months.
We use the following providers, which process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement: Supabase (database and storage), PowerOffice (accounting), Microsoft (file storage via OneDrive), OpenAI and Google (analytics, only with consent).
Some of these providers may transfer data to the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Necessary cookies are used for login, the cart, language choice and remembering your consent choice. These do not require consent.
Statistics cookies (Google Analytics, including _ga and _ga_*) are set only if you consent, and are kept for up to 2 years. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via "Cookies" at the bottom of the page.
You have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and to receive it in a machine-readable format (data portability). You may also object to processing based on legitimate interest, and request restriction of processing. Contact us at post@prodtech.no.
If you believe we process personal data in breach of the rules, you can lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no).
